A 4-day-old baby girl, Alfiya Qureshi, was admitted on 12/07/25 with severe breathing difficulty, low oxygen levels, and signs of distress. She was initially put on CPAP and later intubated for surfactant therapy. The baby had complications like respiratory acidosis, jaundice, and mild pulmonary hypertension. After some improvement and extubation, her condition worsened again, showing low oxygen levels and rapid breathing, requiring re-intubation and ventilator support. She is now being gradually shifted back to CPAP and still requires more days of hospital care.
The baby family is very poor and cannot afford high cost treatment of NICU.So a request to please help and support.
